What to Pack for Your Casino Holiday

So you are about to take off on a UK casino holiday and now it is time to begin packing. But what should you include in your luggage to cover all your needs on the holiday? In part, that will depend upon what types of activities you most enjoy and want to plan into the trip.

You will probably want to take one formal ensemble, either a tuxedo, elegant suit or a bejeweled evening gown and one pair of very dressy shoes. These will be worn during formal dinners at elegant restaurants during your trip and when going to shows. If you know that you will be attending several formal functions, choose something simple and dress it up with different accessories to change the look. It is amazing how a simple floor length black dress can appear to be entirely different when a gold shawl is added for one evening, a bright floral scarf tied across the hips for another evening. Change jewelry and the look will be so different no one will realize it is the same basic dress. To change the look of a tuxedo, simply change the color of the cummerbund and tie. To change an elegant suit, simply change the tie and shirt colors.

Since most online bingo casino resorts have swimming pools and spas, you'll certainly want to include swimwear in your travel wardrobe. A basic neutral tone swimsuit for a lady can change looks by tying on a sarong in bright colors, or add the gold shawl from the evening wear, tied around the hips. Men don't usually care if they are seen wearing the same swimwear on two occasions, but if you do, simply pack two sets of swim trunks. They roll down into a tight bundle and take up little room. And don’t forget to take along some exercise clothing so you can run, walk, or use the resort's exercise facilities. After a long night of partying, you'll want to wake up with a little exercise.

Comfortable touring clothes will carry you far. You will want comfortable walking shoes for strolling the strips, the beach or other interesting areas around the resort. You'll want loose fitting walking slacks and a comfortable shirt. Do try to plan a wardrobe that you can mix and match.

One hint that will save space and add comfort: skip the jeans. Instead of giving into the temptation to pack jeans because you think you will need one pair, use that space to pack two pairs of comfortable slacks, one dressy and one casual. Instead of that oversized tee-shirt, pack polo style shirts or dressier shirts that can take you just about anywhere.
